What we do print
UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA: 2010 Swim Guide
Living in Gainesville, it’s practically a requirement to root for the Gators and we gladly oblige. We love working on materials for the University and its various athletics programs. This media guide for the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams gave us another opportunity to get our feet wet.
COX: 2008 Community Report
In addition to providing the area’s best telecommunications services, Cox is an active leader in supporting our community. This booklet illustrates the breadth of their involvement by highlighting all the fantastic events and fundraisers they sponsored or hosted throughout the year.
GAINESVILLE CLEAN WATER: Scoop the Poop
We really stepped in it when we got this client. How do you make inspiring ads about scooping up dog doo? Well, we must have done something right because these posters won the Larry Edwards Award for Best of Show in Public Service at the 2010 Gainesville ADDY Awards. Good boy.
FLORIDA HIGHWAY SAFETY: Teen Seat Belt Posters
Far too many teens lose their lives on Florida’s highways and byways just because they don’t wear seat belts. When the client asked us to create a poster to put up in high schools throughout the state we gave their crash scene dummies a graphic novel makeover.
WASTE WATCHER: Enviro-Hero Comic Books
We created The Waste Watcher to defend Alachua County from environmental injustice and educate children about the 4 Rs: reduce, reuse, recycle, rethink. Along with his enviro-pals, The Waste Watcher’s adventures are chronicled in a series of comic coloring books distributed to elementary school kids.
UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA: Championship DVDs
Another year, another National Championship. Ho hum. The boys had a pretty nice string of football and basketball National Championships and fans like to watch that sort of thing over and over again. These DVDs were produced by Studio 601 and UAA. We brought the excitement of the footage inside to the covers on the outside.
UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA: 2009 Golf Media Guide
The Gator women’s golf team was teeing up another season and needed a media guide that could add some flash to the program. You see, media guides are as much about recruiting as they are about keeping the media folks up-to-date. Our “Where Dreams Are Realized” cover encourages recruits to make their home in Gator Nation.
SHOWTIME: The Tudors
This Showtime Original Series needed help getting college students excited about its second season. How do you get college students revved up about the Victorian era? Highlight all the depraved deeds and execrable exploits that make the show sizzle. And you throw a premiere party at one of the coolest spots in town.
THE VILLAGE: Numbers Are Reinvented
More and more, aging baby boomers are returning to their college towns. This ad from Gator football game day programs invites them to enjoy a deluxe retirement lifestyle just minutes from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. As any true Gator knows, numbers aren’t retired around these parts, they’re just reinvented.
